Galaxy S series — the phones that hold their value
The Galaxy S flagships are the Samsung phones with the strongest UK resale demand, and the newer the generation, the more of its value survives. An S25 or S24 in good condition is worth a meaningful chunk of what you paid; even an S22 still commands a fair price. Ultra models carry a premium over the standard and Plus versions because of their cameras and storage options — always pick your exact variant when you get a quote, because storage size genuinely changes the price. Cracked screen or faulty Samsung? Still worth real money
A cracked back panel, a scuffed frame, a worn battery or a dead pixel does not make your Galaxy worthless. A Galaxy that will not power on is also quoted as Poor, though the offer may be reduced further or refused once we inspect it. Remove your accounts before you post — it is the one thing that delays payment
The single most common reason a Samsung payment gets held up is Factory Reset Protection: the phone arrives wiped but still tied to a Google or Samsung account, and we legally cannot process it until it is released. Two minutes before you post saves days after: remove your Google account (Settings → Accounts and backup → Manage accounts), remove your Samsung account the same way, then factory reset (Settings → General management → Reset). Can I sell a Samsung with a cracked screen?
Yes. Cracked screens, damaged back glass, worn batteries and cosmetic damage are all accepted — select Poor condition when you get your quote and the price for that grade appears instantly. The phone must power on and boot; beyond that, damage lowers the price but rarely removes it. It is almost always more than the £0 a drawer pays.

How do I remove Factory Reset Protection before selling?
Remove your Google account first: Settings → Accounts and backup → Manage accounts → your Google account → Remove. Then remove your Samsung account the same way (you will need your password). Only then factory reset via Settings → General management → Reset → Factory data reset. Doing it in this order means the phone arrives with no activation locks and we can inspect and pay you the same working day. A phone that arrives still locked has to be returned or held until you release it remotely.
How fast do I get paid for my Samsung?
