Galaxy S series — the phones that hold their value

The Galaxy S flagships are the Samsung phones with the strongest UK resale demand, and the newer the generation, the more of its value survives. An S25 or S24 in good condition is worth a meaningful chunk of what you paid; even an S22 still commands a fair price. Ultra models carry a premium over the standard and Plus versions because of their cameras and storage options — always pick your exact variant when you get a quote, because storage size genuinely changes the price. If you are upgrading to the newest Galaxy, sell the old one within the first couple of months: S-series values drop fastest right after each January launch.

Z Fold and Z Flip — yes, we buy foldables

Foldables are the trickiest phones to sell privately — buyers worry about hinge wear and screen creases, so eBay listings stall and lowball offers pile up. We quote Z Fold and Z Flip models like any other phone: pick the model, storage and honest condition, and the price is on screen in seconds. Normal fold-line creasing is expected and priced in. What we check on arrival is what we check on every phone: it powers on, the screen works, and the Samsung account has been removed.

Cracked screen or faulty Samsung? Still worth real money

A cracked back panel, a scuffed frame, a worn battery or a dead pixel does not make your Galaxy worthless. Select Poor condition when you build your quote and you will see the exact price for that grade instantly — no "send it in and we will see" games. The only Samsung phones we cannot buy are ones that will not power on, are locked to a Samsung or Google account we cannot verify you have removed, or are blacklisted as lost or stolen. Everything else has a price.

Remove your accounts before you post — it is the one thing that delays payment

The single most common reason a Samsung payment gets held up is Factory Reset Protection: the phone arrives wiped but still tied to a Google or Samsung account, and we legally cannot process it until it is released. Two minutes before you post saves days after: remove your Google account (Settings → Accounts and backup → Manage accounts), remove your Samsung account the same way, then factory reset (Settings → General management → Reset). Arrive clean, get paid the same working day we inspect it.

Common questions

How much is my Samsung Galaxy worth?

It depends on the model, storage size and condition — the spread is wide, from a couple of hundred pounds for a recent S-series flagship in pristine condition down to modest but real money for older or damaged handsets. Rather than trust a blog table that goes stale, pick your exact model above and you will see the live price for every condition grade in about 30 seconds. The quote is locked for 21 days, so checking costs you nothing and commits you to nothing.

Can I sell a Samsung with a cracked screen?

Yes. Cracked screens, damaged back glass, worn batteries and cosmetic damage are all accepted — select Poor condition when you get your quote and the price for that grade appears instantly. The phone must power on and boot; beyond that, damage lowers the price but rarely removes it. It is almost always more than the £0 a drawer pays.

Do you buy Galaxy A series and older Samsung phones?

We focus on the models with genuine UK resale demand — the Galaxy S series from the S22 onwards, plus Z Fold and Z Flip foldables. Many A-series and older phones are below the value threshold where buyback makes sense for either side, but our catalogue changes as the market moves, so search for your model above. If we do not currently buy it, the search will tell you rather than waste your time.

How do I remove Factory Reset Protection before selling?

Remove your Google account first: Settings → Accounts and backup → Manage accounts → your Google account → Remove. Then remove your Samsung account the same way (you will need your password). Only then factory reset via Settings → General management → Reset → Factory data reset. Doing it in this order means the phone arrives with no activation locks and we can inspect and pay you the same working day. A phone that arrives still locked has to be returned or held until you release it remotely.

How fast do I get paid for my Samsung?

Same working day as inspection. Post the phone with the free Royal Mail tracked label, we inspect it the day it arrives, and if the condition matches what you selected the bank transfer goes out that working day — most UK banks show it within minutes. If our grading disagrees with yours, you get a counteroffer to accept or decline; declining means we return the phone free of charge.
